Blown Film Extrusion Machine Operator
Job SummaryOperate and monitor mono-layer/multi-layer blown film extrusion machines to produce quality PE films while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor blown film extrusion lines.Set and adjust temperature, pressure, output, bubble stability, film thickness, width, cooling, and winding.Perform machine start-up, shutdown, changeovers, and routine adjustments.Monitor raw materials such as LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, masterbatch, and additives.Identify and troubleshoot common film defects and process issues.Conduct in-process quality checks and maintain production records.Coordinate with Production, QC, and Maintenance teams.Follow 5S, HSE, PPE, and housekeeping requirements.
RequirementsTechnical Diploma or relevant technical qualification preferred.12 years of experience in blown film extrusion, preferably PE film production.Experience with mono/multi-layer extrusion machines such as Kiefel, W&H, Alpine, Bandera, or similar.Good knowledge of extrusion parameters, film defects, bubble stability, and raw materials.Experience with FFS film, heavy-duty sacks, shrink/stretch hood, agricultural, or industrial PE film is preferred.Willingness to work rotating/alternating shifts and meet production KPIs.
