QC Coating Inspector

Job SummaryThe QC Coating Inspector is responsible for inspecting surface preparation and coating application activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, and pipeline projects.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesInspect surface preparation activities including blasting and cleaningVerify environmental conditions prior to coating applicationMonitor coating application processes and ensure compliance with approved proceduresConduct DFT (Dry Film Thickness), holiday testing, adhesion testing, and visual inspectionsEnsure compliance with SAEP-316 and project specificationsIdentify and report non-conformities and follow up on corrective actionsPrepare inspection reports and maintain QA/QC documentationCoordinate with contractors, QA/QC teams, and client inspectors
Mandatory RequirementsB.S. Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant inspection experience
OR Industrial/Technical Diploma with minimum 810 years of relevant inspection experience in oil & gas / refinery / petrochemical / pipeline projectsValid certification: CSWIP-BGAS Level 2 / NACE Level 2 / EquivalentQualified as per SAEP-316 requirementsDemonstrated experience in all phases of critical coating applicationsValid driving license (Mandatory)
