Senior Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer

Role & responsibilities Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, electronic, and control-system faults at customer sites. Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on commercial refrigeration and freezer equipment. Install, commission, test, dismantle, relocate, reinstall, and recommission systems when required. Detect and repair refrigerant leaks; recover, evacuate, pressure-test, and recharge refrigerants in accordance with safe industry practice and applicable requirements. Replace compressors, condensing units, evaporators, fan motors, controls, valves, driers, electrical components, and other major system parts. Carry out copper-pipe brazing, piping modifications, nitrogen pressure testing, vacuum procedures, and commissioning checks. Inspect control panels, calibrate controllers and thermostats, verify defrost operation, and confirm operating temperatures and pressures. Prepare detailed service reports and parts recommendations; communicate repair scope, risks, and recommendations to customers professionally
Preferred candidate profile Experience with a dedicated commercial refrigeration maintenance and field-service company . Experience with restaurants, hotels, central kitchens, supermarkets, or food-service facilities. Manufacturer training or recognized refrigeration certifications. A valid driving licence is preferred
