Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Formwork Co. Ltd (Doka) is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering function in Riyadh. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing and developing high-performing engineering teams, delivering safe, practical, and cost effective formwork solutions, and supporting complex projects across the Kingdom. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Engineering Manager will play a critical role in driving technical excellence, innovation, and knowledge sharing while working closely with Sales, Project Managers, and site teams. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise in formwork engineering with proven people leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for a senior engineering leader with strong people management and customer facing capabilities, who is comfortable working in a multicultural Middle East environment. Proficiency in English is essential, and Arabic language skills are considered a strong advantage. The position offers excellent professional growth opportunities within a globally reputed company that values collaboration, performance, technical excellence, and long term development.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and motivate engineering teams across multiple projects.Motivates team and implement economical and practical formwork solutions to meet the team and company objectivesProvide strong leadership and actively promote knowledge sharing and engineering trainings/development for project teamSupervise project deadlines/milestonesProduce, review, and approve formwork designs, material lists, offer drawings, and shop drawings.Conduct and review advanced static calculations and structural verifications.Ensure formwork solutions are safe, practical, and cost-effective.Provide technical guidance and resolution for complex engineering and site issuesSupervise engineering deliverables to meet project deadlines and milestones.Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Formwork Instructors on technical issues.Assist the Sales Team with technical input, client presentations, and site support.Lead customer interactions (meetings, workshops, and site visits) to communicate engineering proposals, clarify requirements, and deliver technical presentations.Provide strong leadership and actively promotes engineering trainings/development for engineering staffCoordinate engineering resource allocation with the Head of Engineering Country.Ensure adherence to company policies, engineering procedures, and performance standards.Monitor compliance with contractual, statutory, and safety requirements.Ensure consistent application of engineering best practices across projects.

Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.Extensive experience in the formwork engineering industry, preferably within Saudi Arabia / Middle East.Proven experience managing engineering teams and multi-project environmentsMinimum 5 years of experience in similar managerial positions, including leading an engineering function (e.g., Engineering Head) in the formwork field.Strong knowledge of formwork systems and engineering principles.Proficiency in CAD software (2D & 3D) and project management toolsExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail.Commercial awareness and results-driven mindset.Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
