We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Artisan Baker who shares our passion for craftsmanship, natural fermentation, and exceptional quality to join our growing team.
Role & responsibilities
Master Production: Oversee and execute the daily production of specialty breads, focusing heavily on Sourdough, Ciabatta, Panini bread, Focaccia, and a variety of other artisan loaves.Fermentation Management: Care for, feed, and manage natural sourdough starters, closely monitoring bulk fermentation, dough hydration, shaping, and proofing cycles.Recipe & Product Development: Innovate and test new artisan bread recipes to support our expanding product lines, ensuring alignment with commercial standards and market preferences.Quality Control: Maintain rigorous quality assurance standards across all stages of mixing, baking, and cooling to guarantee consistent texture, crust, and flavor.High-Volume Operations: Manage workflows efficiently in a high-volume production environment, scaling output to meet commercial distribution demands without compromising quality.Kitchen Safety & Hygiene: Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance standards across the production facility.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional baking experience, specifically focusing on artisan breads and natural fermentation.Technical Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of sourdough mechanics, flour types, hydration ratios, long cold fermentations, and commercial oven operations.Production Skills: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume commercial bakery or food production setting.Creativity & Problem Solving: Strong capability to troubleshoot baking variables (temperature, humidity, flour consistency) independently.Location: Must currently reside in or be ready to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
