Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development Manager (MEP & Fit-Out)Riyadh, Saudi Arabia · Full-time · Field-based · Reports to the General ManagerBuenaVista Solutions is a new Riyadh contractor with a full engineering team behind it and no sales function yet. We need the person who brings in our first projects, and the projects after that. You will be the first commercial hire, working directly with the General Manager, and the pipeline you build is the business.About usBuenaVista Solutions delivers interior fit-out (design, execution and project management) and MEP works: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting piping, building management systems (BMS) and low-current systems. Our clients are developers, corporate tenants, main contractors and facility owners in Riyadh. We are registered and licensed (CR, Chamber of Commerce, ZATCA, GOSI, Qiwa) and building our first project portfolio.What success looks like after 12 monthsBuenaVista is registered as an approved vendor with a set of Riyadh developers and main contractors, is regularly invited to tender, and has a tracked pipeline of qualified opportunities. You have personally sourced and closed our first fit-out and MEP contracts and handed each one cleanly to the project team.What you will ownBuilding and working a target list of Riyadh developers, main contractors, consultants and corporate fit-out clients, then meeting them face to faceGetting BuenaVista onto approved-vendor and subcontractor lists, and preparing the prequalification packagesFinding tenders and RFQs, qualifying them, and coordinating with our engineers on BOQs, technical submittals and pricingPresenting proposals, negotiating terms (payment, retention, variations) and closing contracts with the General ManagerKeeping every lead, meeting and follow-up recorded in our pipeline tracker, and reporting on it weeklyFollowing each signed project through to collection, staying in touch with the client so there is repeat work

Desired Candidate ProfileWhat we are looking forRequiredAt least 2 to 5 years in sales or business development for construction, MEP or fit-out in Saudi Arabia, with at least part of that in RiyadhNamed projects you sourced or closed, with approximate contract values, which you can discuss at interview and we can verify through referencesCurrently resident in Saudi Arabia with a transferable iqamaValid Saudi driving licence; this role is on the road most daysWorking Arabic and English, spoken and writtenPreferredEngineering degree or technical background in MEPExperience with vendor registration and prequalification at Riyadh developers or main contractorsExperience selling BMS, low-current or fire-fighting systemsSaudi Council of Engineers membershipCompensation and benefitsFixed monthly salary depending on experienceCommission on projects you bring in, under a written plan agreed before you startMedical insurance, annual leave and end-of-service benefits under the Saudi Labor LawIqama and work-permit fees paid by the company
