Senior Maintenance Engineer Commercial Kitchen Bakery and Cafe Equip

Role & responsibilities Diagnose electrical, mechanical, electronic, gas, water, steam, and control-system faults accurately at customer sites. Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance; repair or replace components such as heaters, motors, pumps, valves, sensors, thermostats, contactors, relays, wiring, and electronic control boards. Install, commission, test, relocate, and recommission commercial equipment; verify safe and correct operation after every intervention. Inspect electrical supply, earthing, gas connections, water supply, drainage, ventilation interfaces, and safety devices relevant to the equipment. Use manuals, wiring diagrams, technical data, and parts catalogues to identify root causes and correct spare parts. Prepare clear service reports covering fault findings, work completed, test results, parts required, risks, and recommendations Cooking: combi and convection ovens, deck and bakery ovens, pizza ovens, ranges, grills, griddles, fryers, salamanders, shawarma machines, pasta cookers, steamers, bain-marie, and hot-holding equipment.
Preferred candidate profile Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. At least five years of recent hands-on field-service experience with commercial kitchen, bakery, or caf equipment. Strong working knowledge of control circuits, heating systems, motors, pumps, valves, sensors, thermostats, contactors, relays, and electronic boards. • Practical knowledge of gas-operated commercial equipment and associated safety systems. Ability to read electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, service manuals, and spare-parts catalogues. Competence with multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, temperature instruments, and other diagnostic tools. Clear English communication and professional customer-service skills. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple field assignments, and attend urgent calls when required.
